	Hotel Birdhouse
	Inspired by a trip that I took to Turkey Point a few summers ago, I created a concept hotel brand from concept to execution. Hotel Birdhouse is a charming getaway located in Canada’s birdhouse capital, Port Rowan.

The iconography of real birdhouses inspired the logo. Its simple shape can be derived into other graphic elements that are used throughout various applications. For example, in the email newsletter, call to action buttons are reminiscent of wayfinding signs found in forests, with shapes found in the logo forming them.

With Norfolk County being one of the largest farming regions in Canada, I chose to include dishes featuring the region’s most bountiful produce inspired by cuisines from around the world.&#38;nbsp;

	A thesis branding project for a concept high-end artisanal grocery store. The branding is targeted towards young urban professionals, and includes playful tongue-and-cheek illustrations and vintage-meets-modern typefaces.

Illustrations are created in a style that implies simplicity and a sense of hope and light for survivors, and follow a cohesive colour palette adhering to the report’s design and VST’s branding.

Aid Society
	A concept branding redesign project for the York Region Children’s Aid Society created through the RGD Mentorship program.&#38;nbsp;

By crafting a solid foundation for YRCAS’ brand identity, the other two designers were able to seamlessly integrate the assets I created into a working website prototype in Figma, which I also assisted in building when necessary.

I also created a diverse library of illustrations that could be used throughout our deliverables, with a lively colour palette that welcomes its viewers with open arms.

Our web pages combined illustrations, photography, and soft rounded edges to create a friendly and inviting place where users could easily find information and look for resources.

As an expansion of the project, I decided to re-design the YRCAS’ 2024-2025 Annual Report on my own, and applied the brand guidelines we created to the publication. This was a great exercise that allowed me to organize data and create an editorial layout system that was easy for readers to navigate.

I created 46 different variations of the label before landing on the final version. Here were a few of my favourites that didn’t make the cut:
